What is lip blush?

Lip Blush is tattooing of the lip area to redefine your lip line and give your lip a fresh colour

How long does it last?

Lip Blush can last up to 4 years, some clients may feel they would like a top up sooner if they want the border sharpened.

Is It painful?

We apply topical anaesthetic to numb the area making this treatment comfortable

What do I need to do before my appointment?

You will need a patch test at least 48 hours prior to treatment. It is vital to get the lips as nourished as possible. Please avoid vaseline as this actually dries out the lips. If you wear a lipstick often please bring this with you to your appointment. Avoid alcohol 24 hours before and after treatment. Ensure that you have food and hydrate yourself before attending your appointment.

What is the healed result?

When you leave your appointment your lips will feel swollen. The colour may have a red undertone, this is from erythema (increased blood flow) coming to the area. The colour will fade by 60% after the area has healed. The lips will heal matt.

What is the aftercare

You will not be able to get them wet for 5 days post treatment. We recommend drinking through a straw. You will be required to keep applying an ointment that we will provide you.

Will I need a top up straight after?

You will need a top up after treatment. This is normally done 4 weeks post your first appointment. On some occasions you will need more than one top up depending on how your lips heal.
